I feel like a little good news for private property owner rights came today with the tearing down of the Christenberry House. For much too long, Knox Heritage led by Kim Trent has kept buildings lurking around. In 2001 or 2002, I was the voice in the wilderness telling the Knox County School Board that Knox Heritage would do nothing for Old South High and today in 2015, over 13 years later Old South High is worse than if the school, district had torn it down.
